Hi Keri! This made me smile. (This particular line, and the article itself). I’m also fascinated with language learning, and so I had to read this article! And I agree with your tip about using music, particularly rap. The accent doesn’t always work out exactly right, I’ve found, but the key is that the artists stuff a ton of vocabulary into a small, space, and once you really learn it, it’s hard to forget. Especially thanks to the catchy rhythms. Great tip :) And I absolutely agree that it’s not too late for adults to learn new languages. And: Did you learn Russian more for fun?
